The Multimedia Designer will serve as the creative force behind Mattamy’s visual storytelling, translating ideas into print and digital assets for internal and external audiences. This role involves capturing moments, designing compelling visuals, and supporting multimedia production while adhering to brand standards and deadlines, ultimately influencing how the organization and the public perceive Mattamy.
- Lead creation of multimedia and design projects (handbooks, posters, presentations, social content, web assets) ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.
- Capture photography for LinkedIn and internal stories to support communications and employer branding.
- Use analytics, feedback, and best practices to refine creative projects and inform communication strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams across all levels and functions.
- Contribute fresh ideas and support various projects within a cross‑functional Communications team.

- Degree or post‑graduate certificate in Visual Arts, Graphic/Multimedia Design or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of multimedia design and creative project management experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong photography skills, including shooting and editing.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities across in‑person and virtual environments.
- Ability to manage multiple end‑to‑end projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
- Self‑motivated, continuous learner, capable of working autonomously and within a team.
- Experience with video/audio production and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience with ContactMonkey or similar internal email tools.
Benefits
The position is hybrid in Toronto (four days in‑office) and offers a base salary of $57,500–$87,500 plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
