The company is hiring a Sales Representative whose primary responsibility is to manage the sales process while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves continuously sourcing new customers, helping them design their dream home, and ensuring a smooth transaction from sale through financing and construction.
- Communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to prospects.
- Identify customer goals and challenges, positioning D.R. Horton as the optimal solution.
- Overcome objections and close sales.
- Maintain accurate transaction documentation from sale through loan, options, and construction.
- Continuously source new sales opportunities and create marketing plans for new customer relationships.
- Network with and outreach to realtors.
- Manage time efficiently to meet sales targets and collaborate with team members.
- Expand and maintain a prospect database.
- Attend sales meetings and build rapport with customers, realtors, and colleagues.
- Follow policies to ensure compliance with quality standards and act professionally and ethically.

Candidates must have at least an Associate’s Degree or two years of related experience, a valid driver’s license and vehicle, and be able to use DRH sales applications on mobile devices. Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, lifting up to 25 lb, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer skills is required.
