Account Assistant

• Assist in preparation of monthly JV recharge.
• Provide general accounting and clerical support to the Accounting & Finance department.
• Maintain accurate transactional records, perform binding and documents organisation tasks and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Create vendor codes in SAP, as well as register and manage bank details for both in compliance with internal policies.
• Credit card reconciliations, and reimbursing employee expenses incurred for work-related purposes in a timely manner.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Assist with GST reconciliations and internal/external audit and compliance review.
• Preparing ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required.
• Prepare and process payment runs within timeframe.
• Assist in managing the general ledger, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and developing monthly budget forecasts.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support various construction projects.

• Ideally 2+ years' experience in similar roles with responsibilities managing internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience with large ERP system (eg. SAP, JD Edward)
• Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, commerce or related field
