The role involves applying a range of treatment technologies—including physical and chemical primary treatment, biological processes, membrane systems, adsorption, filtration, disinfection, thermal evaporation, and crystallization—while receiving mentorship, delegating work to junior staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams from study through commissioning and O&M.
- Act as an active business and risk manager, planning and executing projects.
- Coordinate project execution with other disciplines.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to project team members.
- Make decisions guided by organizational and functional strategies.
- Deliver guidance and feedback to develop mid‑level and junior staff.
- Contribute to all IWTO business areas: business development, technology, and project delivery.

The Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization (IWTO) team is looking for a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer / Design Manager with 10+ years of consulting engineering experience to support business growth, client services, and project management for industrial water and wastewater design projects.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, collaboration, communication, conflict resolution, adaptability, and self‑development.
- Travel up to 25% for client meetings, site visits, and staffing needs.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; 10+ years industrial wastewater experience; Professional Engineer registration.
- Preferred: Master’s degree; 14+ years experience; strong competitor knowledge; can‑do attitude; team player; leadership.
