The role supports the daily operations of facilities technicians, focusing on financial performance, mentorship, scheduling, and documentation review. It also handles inventory management, equipment organization, and maintenance of the technician qualifications database while conducting field audits for quality and safety. Daily communication with technicians, project managers, and general contractors is required, along with attending project meetings and assisting with recruiting, business development, and client development as needed.
Candidates must have at least three years of specialty or facilities technician experience, a high school diploma or GED (a two‑year technical degree is preferred), and two required facilities certifications. Professional certifications such as NRCA/RCI or AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector are advantageous, and a valid driver’s license is required for driving on behalf of the company. Strong oral and written communication skills, detail‑orientation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential, as is proficiency with electronic devices, MS Office, and knowledge of building envelope testing techniques.
