Thorough knowledge of general construction and concrete construction safety standards and practices. Responsible for enforcement of safety standards with own crew and others on the worksite.
Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Thorough knowledge of the planning, layout, erection, and bracing of formwork for concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs.
Current licenses applicable to the trade.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles, on an active construction site.
Ability and desire to train and mentor teammates.
Thorough knowledge of the installation of reinforced steel (including the ability to read rebar shop drawings)>
Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs, and ladders.
Thorough knowledge of corporate quality control program.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of the placement and finishing of concrete.
Minimum of 5 years of industrial construction experience.
Able to bend, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, reach, balance and stoop on a regular basis.
Ability to provide accurate layout for line and grade, from established benchmarks.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Prepared to regularly encounter moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and a variety of outside weather conditions.
Ability to take direction and manage multiple.
Ability to read drawings and specifications.
Competency in working at heights while following appropriate fall protection protocol.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Working knowledge of job cost report and labor production report review and analysis.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
