-Provide technical leadership on market modelling, scenario analysis, and strategic assignments for utilities, developers, and government clients. -Engage with industry stakeholders to influence market design, regulation, and policy development. -Manage client relationships, develop proposals, and contribute to business growth. -Support the continued expansion of the firm’s market and grid advisory offering across Australia and New Zealand. -Mentor junior consultants and help strengthen the capability of the Energy Advisory team. -Lead and deliver complex energy market advisory projects spanning forecasting, planning, and regulatory analysis.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Principal or Senior Consultant to join a leading Energy Advisory team, delivering market analysis, forecasting, and strategic advisory services across Australia’s energy transition. Based ideally in Melbourne (with flexibility for the rest of Australia and NZ), this role offers the opportunity to shape policy, regulatory, and commercial outcomes for clients across the renewable energy and utilities sectors. -10+ years’ experience in energy market analysis, planning, or advisory within a developer, utility, regulator, or consultancy environment. -Degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy Systems, or related discipline (postgraduate qualification in Energy or Finance desirable). -Strong understanding of NEM operations, market design, and renewable integration. -Demonstrated ability to manage clients, lead teams, and win work in a consulting context. -Proven track record in quantitative analysis, forecasting, and energy economics. -Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
