Estate Responder

Description

• Record work accurately using digital or manual systems
• Respond promptly and customer-focused to estate issues and assist with complaints resolution
• Handle materials and waste safely in accordance with procedures
• Care for tools, materials, and equipment to ensure they are secure and maintained
• Assist with bulk waste and graffiti removal as necessary
• Manage bin stores, oversee bin exchanges, and ensure smooth waste collection
• Conduct property checks to support Neighbourhood Management
• Ensure communal services like dry risers, lighting, and surveillance systems function properly, reporting any issues
• Maintain a visible presence at Operational Depots and Offices for staff and contractor access and security
• Perform compliance tasks such as block checks, playground inspections, knotweed treatments, and fire safety checks as needed
• Ensure properties are left clean and safe post-work
• Use machinery, equipment, and PPE safely and correctly
• Adhere to THG Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements

Requirements

• A full and clean UK manual driving licence
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record keeping.
• Experience using cleaning and waste machinery and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with tenants, colleagues and contractors.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Practical experience within Grounds, Cleaning or Caretaking services.
