Work closely with the project manager and other discipline engineers as a key player in leading the design delivery.
Maintain technical knowledge of water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure in a municipal environment.
Complete, oversee and/or review the completion of technical reports, calculations, and undertake design decisions.
Prepare and/or review technical specifications, tender documents, and review design drawings.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build a strong relationship of trust and understanding.
Conduct periodic site visits during design and construction
Liaison with the disciplines to coordinate design efforts, manage project schedules, and track budgets.
Provide continuity through the complete project, from design through construction.
Conduct technical quality reviews of deliverables.
Complete designs within local standards, including making informed decisions on which standard to follow where there are conflicts and communicate and document the decision, engaging stakeholders as required.

Experience with trenchless installation methods for conveyance projects.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Work successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with other project team members and clients.
Previous experience overseeing and coordinating all technical aspects of capital works projects over $300 Million CAD.
Registered as a P.Eng. in the province of ON is an asset.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as effective report writing.
Technical experience and/or project management on conveyance projects in the Greater Toronto Area.

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering +8 years of related experience specifically as a Project Manager, Design Manager or Technical Lead in design and construction of municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
