  • Contributing to business development and writing proposals, identifying opportunities to secure new projects.
  • Managing multidisciplinary projects, maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes
  • Leading the water resource component of Environmental Impact Assessments, including evaluating potential environmental effects, developing mitigation strategies and management plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the development of junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills
  • Leading water resource studies, including water balance and water quality assessments, and option studies, for infrastructure projects of varying scales, primarily across the built environment, energy and resource, and environmental sectors.

  • Strong analytical skills, ideally including proficiency in GIS, rainfall-runoff models, GoldSIM, along with advanced excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of Australian water quality guidelines and application of these guidelines in water resource projects.
  • Bachelor of Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of the environmental issues associated with management of surface water, groundwater, recycled water and surplus water.
  • Strong client relationship skills and project management skills in water resources projects
