The Senior Safety Advisor role will provide leadership in safety for South Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects, working closely with the Safety Manager and precinct leadership to deliver expert guidance, hands‑on support and a strong safety culture across all delivery levels.

Champion the Project’s Values and Behaviours, leading by example with a proactive and visible commitment to safety.
Partner with stakeholders across all zones to coach, support and embed world‑class WHS practices, systems, and procedures.
Provide expert technical input to ensure all legal and contractual obligations are clearly identified, controlled, and communicated.
Maintain and strengthen the Project’s WHS management systems, policies, and plans.
Build strong relationships with internal leaders, contractors, and clients, ensuring alignment and consistency across the alliance.
Lead and participate in high‑level incident investigations and risk assessments, ensuring learnings are captured and shared.
Analyse health and safety data to provide meaningful insights and drive performance improvements.

Proven experience within major construction, infrastructure, or other high‑risk projects.

Proven capability in leading investigations, analysing data, and translating insights into practical improvements.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels.
Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a commitment to building a strong, positive safety culture across complex projects.
Holds a formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
