Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory handling and documentation.
Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend improvements.
Provide training and support floor staff on inventory procedures as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Finance, Receiving and Shipping teams to resolve issues.
Manage the JD Edwards ERP system transactions of materials, including adjustments, transfers, reclasses and returns through the administration of the inventory transaction forms.
Support coordination and execution of daily and ad hoc cycle counts in JDE to maintain inventory accuracy across the facility.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies; document findings and support corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean inventory practices
Manage the physical movement and JD Edwards ERP transactions of materials, including adjustments, transfers, and returns.
Monitor and manage the inventory transaction form inbox.
Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices to reduce waste and improve inventory turnover.
Assist in maintaining and improving ERP system data integrity related to inventory

A High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, business, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with JD Edwards preferred).
Experience supporting quality audits and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
May involve standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
Use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols is required.
2+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
An understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in the power generation or electrical components industry.
