

Providing engineering, procurement, and construction services to the energy and industrial sectors.
The position enables you to apply and expand knowledge of transmission line engineering, covering conductors, hardware, insulation, structures, foundations, and electrical principles. You will design transmission lines ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV, conduct cost analyses, develop design criteria, and oversee routing and siting. The role also includes conductor selection, shielding, grounding, induction studies, vendor and client coordination, and leading a small project team.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers, mentor junior staff, interact with a diverse client base, and occasionally travel for site visits and meetings. Additionally, you will help develop proposals and cost estimates for new work.
Applicants must hold a degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program and have at least seven years of relevant transmission‑line project experience. Required skills include proficiency with PLS‑CADD, knowledge of design codes (NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE, etc.), ability to review right‑of‑way requirements and technical drawings, strong written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications include a current PE license or the ability to obtain one within a year, experience in proposal development, scheduling, and familiarity with additional software such as PLS‑TOWER, SAG10, LPILE, MFAD, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days per week in the office and the flexibility to work remotely two days.
The compensation range is $95,840–$147,870, with a transparent total rewards package that may include discretionary bonuses.
