Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant electrical inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety standards, Risk Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work are consistently implemented and followed across all appropriate work streams.
Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks.
Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively helping to create a secure and well-maintained environment for staff and residents.
Assist the Responsible person and Authorised person when requested.

City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations.
Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison.
Basic IT skills.
Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.

Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems, which will help you make an immediate impact. (Desirable)
BS7671 18th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition.
