Perform field inspections of roadway and utility construction including sewer, water, asphalt and concrete roadways, and other construction projects.
Mentor staff.
Use survey and data compiled from projects to assist in creating record drawings per municipal standards.
Complete accurate daily construction reports, manually or electronically.
Perform and review material testing of asphalt, concrete and aggregates.
Ensure all construction is in accordance with state or local specifications.

Ability to compete electronic daily reports (inspection software, Excel, pdf., etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong understanding of the requirements in inspection, and construction, of municipal sanitary sewer and water systems.
Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree would be considered a plus.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Holder of a valid driver’s license.
