Ensure that the work by contractors is undertaken in a manner that addresses and eliminates personnel and environmental hazards, and ensure that risk analysis, health risk assessments, and work method statements, where required, are in place.
Review all contractor submittals including construction schedules, costs, reports, changes and trends as required.
Review design documents, change orders, material requisitions and specifications for construction associated with the contractor’s scope of works.
Ensure that WHS permits and review/monitor relevant WHS permits are in place on site.
Ensure that Contractor has an Building Control Permit or exemption in place prior to commencing the works.
Attend construction and toolbox meetings.
Ensure that Contractor has a Consent approval in place prior to commencing the works.
Review and monitor traffic management on site.
Liaise, support and assist internal stakeholders regarding to onsite project related activities and logistics.
Review quality control, monitor key construction risks and activities.
Conduct and review safety audits.
Actively interface with the Program Engineering, Construction Interface, Work Health and Safety, Environment and Sustainability, Community, Workplace Relations, Contract Management and other relevant teams to ensure Program delivery priorities are maintained.
