

Premier mechanical construction & facilities services provider for commercial and industrial systems.
Operate and monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) for system performance and energy efficiency.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Assist with installation, testing, and calibration of HVAC equipment and controls.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service on HVAC and refrigeration equipment including air handlers, pumps, VAV systems, and building controls.
Respond to work orders and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
May involve evening, weekend, or overtime work to meet operational needs.
Provide support during special campus events requiring HVAC system adjustments.
Maintain detailed service logs and maintenance records in accordance with HCC procedures.
Diagnose and repair routine HVAC issues; escalate complex problems to senior technicians or supervisors.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency requests outside normal business hours, as needed.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
HVAC apprentice or journeyman license preferred.
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in HVAC or related field preferred.
Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Requires bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
2-4 years of experience in commercial or institutional HVAC maintenance and repair.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Skilled in safe use of HVAC tools, diagnostic instruments, and refrigerant handling.
Work performed indoors and outdoors, including rooftops and mechanical spaces, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and controls.
Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) such as Siemens or Johnson Controls.
