Architectural Inspector

Description

• Ensure architectural engineering work follows inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications.
• Liaise with senior architectural engineer, other engineers, and managers to provide support and guidance.
• Review and monitor work variations to mitigate time and cost impacts.
• Review contractor documents and shop drawings, flag issues affecting stability or function, and monitor compliance with the quality control plan.
• Oversee inspection team protocols for work inspections.
• Monitor safety aspects of architectural installations.
• Report progress of architectural aspects of the project.
• Expedite stalled NOCs from relevant authorities.
• Maintain full site records, including daily diaries and monthly progress photography.
• Expedite client approvals when delayed.
• Coordinate with contractors to accelerate submissions and approvals.
• Conduct tests and thorough site inspections to confirm quality of finishes and building components per approved documents.
• Perform field checks of placement, location, and quality of architectural finishes and structural components.
• Coordinate on‑site to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Perform architectural and material inspections.
• Issue NCRs to contractors and support corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection reports are accurate and meet requirements.
• Verify execution and inspection adhere to plans, drawings, codes, and specifications.
• Ensure architectural work complies with design requirements, specifications, and project plan.
• Prepare daily logs, reports, and maintain records of submittals, tests, and work executed.
• Follow the Contract Administration Procedures Manual for all work.
• Assist with inspection of completed works and undertake other duties as assigned.
• Monitor and report HSE matters, and participate in HSE training and meetings.
