Document Controller

Description

• Support compliance with project QA/QC and document control standards
• Manage, control, and distribute project documentation in line with project procedures
• Maintain accurate document registers, revision control, and audit trails
• Coordinate document flows between design, construction, subcontractors, and client teams
• Ensure timely issue and receipt of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical submittals
• Provide document control support across multiple MEP workstreams

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support a major MEP Design & Build construction project based in Hull. This is a 6-month contract starting in January, working closely with the project delivery, design, and construction teams.

If you’re an experienced Document Controller with a construction background and exposure to MEP projects, we’d like to hear from you.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with multidisciplinary teams
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment
• Strong knowledge of document control processes and construction project lifecycles
• Confident using EDMS platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, or similar)
• Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction
• MEP project experience highly desirable (mechanical, electrical, or building services)
