Description

Annual Budgeting: Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual budget cycle, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
Business Reporting: Produce routine financial reports and respond promptly to ad hoc requests from accountants, business partners, and senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and timeliness.
Accuracy & Governance: Ensure all submissions meet regulatory requirements and deadlines, maintaining robust documentation and audit trails.
Data Visualisation: Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards to present financial insights clearly and support data-driven decisions.
Cashflow Management: Maintain and refine daily and monthly cashflow models to monitor liquidity, anticipate variances, and provide proactive recommendations.
Forecasting: Produce and update monthly forecasts, incorporating business performance trends and stakeholder input to support agile decision-making.
Compliance Submissions: Prepare and coordinate statutory reports including Gender Pay Gap analysis, Payment Practices reporting, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), and Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns.
Performance Analysis: Deliver working capital updates, including detailed analysis of working capital days, and monitor fleet spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
