Description

Verifies material and against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Delivers materials to prescribed storage locations.
Conduct warehousing operations.
Ensure all assigned storage locations/work areas are locked and IDS system activated at the end of the business day
Properly stores, stacks or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Has the primary responsibility of Receiving, Storing and Issuing Ammunition.
Work under the direct supervision of the ASP Operations Supervisor.
Responsible for delivery of rapid deployment ammunition during Global Response Force (GRF) exercises.
Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
Unloading commercial carriers and uploading commercials carries.
Assists in taking inventories through physical count and records item count on inventory documents.
May operate hand or power trucks in performance of warehousing duties.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas.
Army Electrical Explosive Safety (Ammo-28) preferred or must be able to obtain within 3 months of employment date.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
May require a face mask that covers the nose and mouth.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as a Face Mask, Conductive safety boots, Hard Hat, Safety vest, eye, and hand PPE.
Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) preferred or must be able to obtain within 3 months of employment date.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
HAZMAT with Ammo certification preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
Three (3) years or more experience in warehouse operations preferred.
Must be able to operate in a warehouse and outdoor type environment.
Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
Environmental Considerations for Ammunition Personnel (Ammo-31) preferred or must be able to obtain within 3 months of employment date.
Forklift experience required; current license preferred.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as Face Mask, eyes, hand, head, and approved safety footwear.
Banding equipment and related items
Intermodal Dry Cargo (Ammo-43) preferred or must be able to obtain within 3 months of employment date.
Must be able to operate in a prolonged standing environment for up to 8 hours a day.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.
Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites at times in the performance of duties.
Basic Ammunition Certifications (Ammo-45,63,64,67 and 68) preferred or must be able to obtain within 3 months of employment date.
Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
