Participate in the writing and presentation of technical papers and technical meetings with the Client.
Provide business development support integrated into projects, establishing relationships with clients, identifying and pursuing opportunities for new projects.
Provide technical leadership and review for mine and tailings closure and restoration projects
Act as a reviewer and technical expert in projects for the design of structures for the restoration of mine waste storage sites (dikes, waste rock piles, filtered tailings piles, open pits, mine capping, etc.). Provide technical advice and comments on studies as an expert in projects.
Participate in the drafting of service proposals.
Monitor the evolution of the Codes of Good Practice and the regulatory framework for mine reclamation applied to the management of mine tailings, both nationally and internationally.
Actively participate in the training and development of employees in order to maintain and develop a center of expertise in mine restoration and the mining environment applied to the management of mine tailings.

Willingness to travel up to 20% for short-term assignments within Canada or abroad, including visits to client offices, mine sites, or metallurgical plants.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in mine restoration and environmental applied to the design of civil works.
Leadership experience, ability to work in a team and ability to provide innovative and sustainable solutions.
Solid understanding of the environmental regulatory framework governing mining and metallurgical activities at both federal and provincial levels (e.g., BC Mines Health, Safety and Reclamation Code, Guide for Preparing Mine Site Reclamation Plans in Ontario, EIA processes, certificates of authorization)
Member of the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia or other relevant professional association.
A master'S or doctoral degree in engineering or related field, along with experience in consulting engineering and project management, would be considered a strong asset.
