Description

• Print reports and montage films for physicians
• Enter Labs/Diagnostic Imaging/CPQ’s
• Apply and remove casts as needed
• Merging daily chart notes, bubble sheets and scanning for Physicians
• Bring patients back to exam rooms, collect vitals and enter into patient chart
• Order and maintain inventory of general medical supplies
• Contact post operative patients the day after surgery to follow up, enter notes in patient chart
• Blood Draw for PRP under physician supervision
• Contact insurance companies for pre-certification
• Provide patients with supplies ordered by physician
• Order, dispense and maintain inventory of relevant medications for office
• Run CURES reports
• Call and confirm appointments for Post tests, labs and Epidural injections
• Remove sutures and staples, provide general Wound Care and 1st aid
• File and maintain x-ray films
• Check voicemail, telephone encounters, and return calls promptly
• Call in prescription refills/dispense medications to industrial patients
• Schedule diagnostic tests and post-test appointments
• Perform x-ray examinations
• Act as MA floater when your specific physician is on vacation or when you are caught up with your duties and responsibilities
• Clean and stock exam rooms with supplies
• Save imaging and reports to CDs for patients when requested
• Follow up on Work Comp RFA’s
• Pull films for surgery cases and save to patient chart ? Clean Instruments/Autoclave/Sharp containers, etc.
• Injection Set Up
• Cover other team members if they are out sick or on vacation

Requirements

• X-ray, customer service, autoclave, casting, splinting
• Entry Level to 4 years of experience.
• Ability to perform CMA duties when not busy in x-ray or in casting (if applicable)
• X-ray technician certification.
• When available and able, translate for patients and office staff
• May need to travel to other offices when there is a coverage need
• Casting/Splinting/Durable Medical Equipment dispensing and documentation
• High school diploma or GED.
