Key responsibilities include leading design efforts, performing site assessments, and generating detailed analysis and technical reports. You will utilize engineering software to create designs, specifications, and calculations that comply with code requirements and IMEG standards, and interact with clients to gather project requirements and build strong relationships. Additional duties involve conducting in‑process design reviews, enforcing quality control processes, providing technical training and mentorship, staying current with industry trends, and prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.
Required qualifications are a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license, with at least ten years of experience in the building design consulting industry (twelve years preferred). Candidates must demonstrate mastery of design techniques, technical and analytical skills, strong leadership and mentoring abilities, and the capacity to perform final quality checks. Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, problem‑solving, adaptability, proficiency with the MS Office suite, and willingness to travel up to 20% are also essential.

The position offers a salary range of $112,000 to $163,000, variable by location, with potential bonuses and stock ownership options.
