Duty Engineer

Description

The role focuses on achieving excellence in preventive maintenance programs and providing comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services to Accenture. Success will be measured against key performance indicators and service level agreements, ensuring the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.

Core responsibilities include financial management of critical spares, coordination of repair and maintenance requirements, and oversight of engineering and operational procedures across all building systems. The incumbent will manage vendor relationships, enforce maintenance schedules, conduct safety and emergency procedures, maintain detailed records, and produce regular performance reports.

• Manage and control critical spares for all installations per manufacturer recommendations.
• Coordinate quarterly repair & maintenance requirements with AEM.
• Follow up on purchase orders and work completion through invoice submission.
• Execute engineering and operational procedures across all facility systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical, HVAC, PAC, water/plumbing/sanitary, elevators/lifts, and cafeteria equipment.
• Liaise with vendors to deliver maintenance services in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Follow maintenance schedules and shutdown plans in consultation with OEM and Accenture.
• Conduct daily inspections of log books, history cards, checklists, and PPM schedules.
• Guide technical staff to resolve facility and safety issues promptly.
• Adhere to the annual 52‑week M&E maintenance schedule.
• Maintain consistency with agreed SLA and KPI targets.
• Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and manage health & safety issues.
• Prepare and collate vendor performance data and escalate when needed.
• Ensure proper use of e‑fit facility tools (IMT, VMT, Site Ops modules, Inspection Tool).
• Close all preventive‑maintenance work orders in the 360 facility tool and flag deviations.
• Track and resolve builder queries in QMS on a monthly basis.
• Conduct M&E onboarding and basic training for new hires.
• Schedule and track mandatory training attendance.
• Execute IC‑related work requests without escalations.
• Interview and onboard new M&E team members.
• Use the online work‑permit tool fully and upload incident reports.
• Perform equipment reading handovers accurately.
• Audit central store, BMS store, and BMS monthly.
• Conduct facility walk‑arounds following the map and guide.
• Coordinate with the DM team for assistance on issues.
• Manage VIP client visits with the Events team without escalations.
• Resolve Seibel tickets weekly and analyze recurring complaints.
• Support internal and external client audits.
• Ensure functionality of all technology tools in the facility.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly engineering and compliance reports.
• Inspect critical builder‑maintained areas (chiller, HT, DG, LT, LMR, STP, pump rooms) daily.
• Coordinate daily with the builder on diesel and water supply.
• Verify builder‑performed activities such as FAPA tests and façade cleaning.
• Follow up on builder invoice submissions and address operational deviations.
