Field Supervisor

• Evaluate the condition and remaining service life of mechanical, roofing, and structural components based on experience and established guidelines.
• Utilize construction knowledge to locate and assess systems concealed within building structures (e.g., behind walls, ceilings, and floors).
• Supervise or provide technical guidance to field staff and survey teams as required.
• Identify and collect data on building components and systems across assigned sites.
• Conduct or assist with ad hoc site and building surveys when requested.
• Collaborate with trade specialists to gather measurements, quantities, and detailed specifications as needed.
• Enter field data using digital tools such as tablets, laptops, or smartphones.

Minimum Experience

Avsar Construction is seeking experienced Field Supervisors to support ongoing facility assessment and maintenance programs across multiple project sites. The selected candidates will play a key role in evaluating building systems, assessing conditions, and ensuring accurate data collection to guide long-term maintenance and construction planning.

• Strong analytical skills for assessing system performance and service life.
• Minimum of 6 years of full-time, paid professional experience in on-site construction management, facilities assessment, or related field operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-trade teams in fast-paced environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in digital data entry and reporting tools.
• Strong technical understanding of building systems (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and/or structural).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
• Up to four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Candidates without a degree must have at least 10 years of relevant construction or field supervision experience.
• Experience coordinating with site administrators, engineers, and multi-disciplinary field teams.
