Are you an experienced machine operator looking for long-term, hands-on work in the recycling and demolition industry? Based at our Port Pirie site, this role is ideal for operators experienced with excavators, shears, grapple, magnets and loaders. You’ll process scrap metal, handle materials, and help deliver innovative resource recovery solutions.
- Flexibility to perform both machine operation and manual yard duties
- Work independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Exposure to a range of specialised attachments and modern equipment
- First Aid certification (advantageous)
- Construction Industry White Card and current Driver’s Licence
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in scrap, recycling, or demolition industries
- Hands-on experience with shear, grapple and magnet attachments (highly advantageous)
- Experience with loaders, material handlers, or forklifts (desirable)
- Modern equipment and strong safety culture
