- Participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues and solutions to others
- Assist other offices with bridge inspection, rehabilitation, and load rating tasks
- Assist with managing bridge inspection projects including coordination with clients and inspection teams, performing field and office quality control, and performing bridge inspections
- Performs bridge design, rehabilitation and load rating tasks on assigned bridge projects
- Create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various structures
- Performs calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree a plus.
- Professional Engineer license(s) or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Ability to operate mechanical access equipment (snooper, manlift, platform truck, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of codes, legal, design, and inspection requirements in relevant jurisdictions
- Knowledge of relevant design software (BrR, MDX, LEAP, CSI Bridge, etc.)
- Successful completion of NHI Course No. 130078 a plus.
- Experience with rope access/climbing inspection methods a plus.
- Ability to climb ladders, walk on uneven slopes, and work at heights
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office and AssetWise (or equivalent)
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Four or more years bridge engineering, bridges inspection or related/combined experience.
- Completed 2week NHI Course No. 130055, or the 5day NHI Course No. 130056
- Ability to travel in/out of office periodically (1530%)
