Drafter

Description

The drafter will produce engineering drawings and support project documentation using CAD tools, adhering to company standards and collaborating with project teams.

• Perform manual and computer drafting using recognized methods, procedures, and techniques.
• Apply ECI Drafting Standards for symbols, legends, shadings, lines, and layering.
• Prepare as‑built drawings from red‑line copies.
• Create error‑free revisions of existing CAD files.
• Handle drawing reproduction, material supplies, and related tasks.
• Support the preparation of general arrangement, structural, site plan, facility layout, electrical schematic, wiring, and connection drawings.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include a college degree in a related field or a two‑year technical certificate in computer‑aided drafting/design, or at least two years of focused drafting experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; experience with MicroStation/Bentley Connect is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, detail‑orientation, and organizational skills, be able to work independently and on teams, handle confidential information, and exercise independent judgment. Occasional travel may be required, and applicants must not need visa sponsorship.
