Liaise with procurement team to raise purchase orders.
Collaboration & coordination – working closely with process, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers in a multidisciplinary team.
Ensure HSQE documentation is in place for all site work – RAMS, SSWP’s, permits etc.
Develop initial layout drawings (general arrangement of treatment works, pipelines, structures, and access).
Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews/meetings to align civil works with process/electrical/mechanical requirements.
Liaise with design manager to evaluate potential alignment options for pipelines, tanks, pumping stations, or treatment facilities etc. Consider constructability, sequencing, and temporary works implications at a high level.
Supervise sub-contractors on site and record relevant SI information.
Source quotations from suppliers/sub-contractors and provide input to cost estimation for target cost submissions and value engineering workshops.
Provide input to identify health & safety risks at early design stage.
Carry out preliminary site inspections to identify constructability issues, access, existing services etc.
Attendance at civil/structural design meetings with consultants.
