Overview

Develop and manage lockout/tagout procedures ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Tasks

-Data management and specialized tools: Utilize expert systems, perform data entry and extraction to support decision-making for managers. -Risk analysis and compliance: Conduct site assessments, validate installation compliance, and contribute to risk assessments for various disciplines (chemical, electrical, mechanical…). -Budgeting and technical documentation: Prepare cost estimates for lockout system implementation and produce reports, presentations, and technical documents. -Develop and optimize procedures: Create, validate, and update lockout procedures, recommending improvements to enhance methods and ensure compliance with standards (CNESST, CSA Z460, CSA Z462). -Project coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in kickoff meetings, and ensure effective integration of lockout systems into projects.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in spoken and written French. -DEP in Electromechanics, DEC in Electrical Engineering, or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent. -Strong knowledge of hazardous energy management principles. -Practical experience with lockout systems and devices. -Understanding of building systems and maintenance. -Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards (CSA Z460, CNESST). -Cutting-edge technology, including BIM and modern collaborative tools. -Experience with technical lockout procedures, electromechanics, and machine safety is considered an asset.
