Job Description Summary Responsible for overseeing all finance-related trading activities, covering the full cycle from manufacturing units to external customers, including local scope such as Engineering & Construction (E&C) and other engineering functions. This role ensures robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting to Business Line Region, Business Line HQ, and ESY HQ. Key focus areas include technical accounting compliance, operational mechanisms, and internal financial controls.
The position manages finance activities across the subregional trading scope, overseeing monthly and quarterly closing processes and ensuring accurate project and sales order creation in coordination with ITO and OTR COE teams. It leads backlog reconciliation, margin recognition, and burning schedules while analyzing backlog ageing and product mix to maintain appropriate debt levels. The role delivers timely actual results reporting, coordinates quarterly project reviews, and collaborates with COE and operations to provide analytics that drive business decisions. It promotes process simplification, ensures consistency in revenue and billing forecasts, supports dispute resolution, and acts as a strategic partner to operations and finance teams.
The incumbent serves as a connector across subregional functions, providing finance guidance, building relationships with leadership, and mentoring finance team members. They champion continuous improvement, lead integration of new processes such as ITO Order Booking and OTR Billing, and identify opportunities for digital transformation and automation. They analyze financial performance against KPIs, lead account reconciliation for the Power Transmission business line, and maintain balance sheet integrity across various accounts.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, at least five years of finance experience, and in‑depth knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system. Strong oral and written English skills and the ability to work in hybrid or remote environments are also required.
Preferred qualifications are an advanced degree such as an MBA or professional certifications like CPA or CFA. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in financial analysis, accounting, project management, exceptional communication, analytical problem‑solving, leadership of cross‑functional multicultural teams, adaptability, strategic business acumen, and a commitment to continuous improvement and lean digital mindsets.
