The Facilities Management – Sourcing and Performance Analyst Intern in Toronto will turn contract data into strategic insights. The role focuses on using analytical tools and performance metrics to improve sourcing strategies, benchmark vendor performance, and deliver measurable value through contract analysis and financial modeling.
- Conduct performance‑based contract analysis to identify gaps and transition opportunities.
- Research and benchmark industry best practices, market rates, and contract terms.
- Define, collect, and analyze KPIs and SLAs to create vendor performance scorecards.
- Use data models to simulate financial impacts of shifting to fixed‑price or performance‑based agreements.
- Support the sourcing process by gathering data for RFPs and documenting standardized evaluation procedures.
- Assess service agreements to ensure cost and vendor performance align with business outcomes.

The internship requires a current post‑secondary enrollment in facilities management, business administration, supply chain, finance, analytics or a related field. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical abilities, proficiency with Google Sheets (pivot tables, financial modeling) and Google Suite, and effective written and verbal communication. Creative problem‑solving, teamwork, and a basic understanding of facilities management and sourcing principles are also valued.
- Enrolled in a relevant post‑secondary program (Facilities Management, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets for data manipulation and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and data‑visualization tools.
