Electrician

Description

An Electrician based in Ingleburn is responsible for servicing and repairing the electrical components of equipment, ensuring that branch equipment is ready, fit, and safe for hire, and works alongside the mechanical team to ensure electrical readiness.

• Service and maintain a wide range of electrical plant and equipment at the branch.
• Carry out electrical calibrations on equipment as required.
• Repair equipment following accepted trade practices while maintaining high standards.
• Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and rectify faults as needed.
• Keep customers informed about equipment service requirements.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of electrical spare parts.
• Supervise and train apprentices.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role includes a current NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate for Electrical Work, demonstrated troubleshooting and preventative‑maintenance skills on various equipment (including access, materials handling, power generation, dewatering, and optionally solar and battery storage), a customer‑oriented approach, and preferably a forklift and EWP ticket.
