Roles will involve strategic support, leading multidisciplinary commissions, ensuring quality and commercial compliance, applying rigorous risk management, and upholding AECOM’s health, safety, and environmental standards. The Programme Management Advisory and Delivery teams are expanding to meet growing client demand. They seek experienced individuals who can independently or alongside a Director shape, develop, and deliver investment and business change programmes across the full lifecycle, from definition to PMO implementation.
Candidates should have sector experience in infrastructure such as aviation, energy, rail, water, or related fields, and a proven record of managing complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes and PMOs. Essential skills include leadership, strategy development, relationship management, problem solving, and commercial acumen, supported by a relevant degree and professional accreditation.
- Experience in public/private infrastructure sectors such as aviation, energy, rail, water, defence, or health.
- Complex, multi‑disciplinary programme and PMO management expertise.
- Demonstrated track record of successful delivery and commercial results.
- Key skills: leadership, strategy development, relationship management, complex problem solving.
- Management consulting background with senior‑level client engagement.
- Account management experience, including live programme oversight and new opportunity pursuit.
- Line‑management experience within a consultancy environment.
- Strong industry network and ability to work across service lines with cross‑selling capability.
- Required qualifications: degree in project/programme management, construction, or engineering; CHPP or APM accreditation; Managing Successful Programmes certification preferred.
- Proficiency with business information tools.
