Prepare workpapers and participate in the annual audits.
Prepare CAM and tax reconciliations.
Maintain weekly cash position analysis.
Preparing and entering journal entries.
Prepare financial statements and reporting packages.
Prepare month end journal and closing entries.
Communicate and process monthly debt service.
Prepare monthly bank requisitions.
Prepare monthly property allocation (if any.)
Review monthly billings statements.
Analyze financial data and summarize in a clear, useful manner.
Review accuracy of rent rolls.
Prepare and analyze annual budgets.

Property Management group based in Manhattan is looking for a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Senior Property Accountant responsible for preparing all financial statements and providing management/client with financial information requested. Yardi a must!

Excellent organizational skills.
Effective leadership abilities.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Meticulous attention to details and accuracy.
Experience with CAM/Tax billings helpful.
Strong people skills.
3 to 5 years’ experience as a Senior Property Accountant.
Prior public accounting experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university.
Yardi or MRI experience helpful. Real estate industry experience required.
Experience with Yardi software.
Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
