We are seeking a Dry Utilities Inspector (Electrical) in Abu Dhabi, UAE to oversee the installation, maintenance, and compliance of electrical dry utility systems on construction sites. The role ensures that all electrical utility works are executed according to approved designs, standards, and regulations while maintaining safety and quality.
The inspector will verify installation alignment, levels, and gradients, and ensure compliance with designs, specifications, and industry standards. They will monitor materials and workmanship, witness system testing, and oversee commissioning to confirm operational readiness. Coordination with contractors, subcontractors, utility providers, project engineers, and managers will be essential to resolve discrepancies, implement design changes, and maintain safe, environmentally responsible practices.
Candidates must hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least five years of experience inspecting electrical utility systems. Strong knowledge of dry utility infrastructure, industry codes (IEC, BS, IEEE, or local), and ability to read drawings is required, along with excellent communication, reporting, and safety‑regulation expertise. Experience with trenching, excavation, and backfilling related to electrical utilities is also valued.
