3rd Shift Associate Production/Assembly Worker (H)

Description

• Assemble Sycool units and non‑foam panel door/jamb assemblies according to defined processes.
• Perform final assembly of foam panel doors, installing handles and hinges.
• Safely handle materials and maintain Kanban inventory levels.
• Follow Munters Quality System and complete in‑process quality check sheets.
• Observe and enforce all safety rules.
• Assist with various factory operations to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Participate in meetings and work groups for training, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing.
• Use hand and power tools, assembly fixtures, vacuum lifters, cranes and forklifts.
• Assemble sheet‑metal parts, install electrical, gas, and air‑conditioning equipment, test equipment, and load finished products onto trucks.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for newer employees.
• Complete quality‑assurance inspections and related paperwork.
• Take part in company‑sponsored social events and team‑building activities.
• Operate with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and tools to support production.

Requirements

The 3rd Shift Associate Production/Assembly Worker is based in Daleville, VA, and works the night shift from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with required overtime and weekend hours to meet production schedules. The role involves assembling Sycool units and foam panel doors, handling materials, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints.
