The Regulatory Compliance Specialist II manages regulatory compliance issues and interprets new regulations that affect upstream energy operations, collaborating with Operations Managers and overseeing compliance within a specific geographic territory.
The role requires analyzing and interpreting regulations, advising operational teams on compliance strategies, maintaining direct contact with regulatory agencies, monitoring regulatory developments for operational impact, preparing required compliance documentation, and performing other assigned duties.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of regulatory experience. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Environmental Science, Energy Policy, Law, or a related field and experience in regulatory compliance or energy‑related legal work.
Successful applicants demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, prioritize safety, and are proficient with Microsoft Office and general PC applications.
