  • Work with front office staff — Order and track parts, materials and time spent on services.
  • Take initiative — Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment to drive project success.
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of security software and hardware.
  • Maintain a professional worksite — Ensure a clean, organized and professional worksite, paying attention to detail, taking pride in workmanship and solving problems for customers.

  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills for summarizing and communicating findings.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Successful completion of a background and driving screens, and ability to obtain an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) card.
  • Ability to regularly lift, move and/or control up to 50 lbs.
  • 1+ years' experience with low voltage, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, military service, or similar.
  • Ability to work at heights using a ladder and/or lift.
  • Learn to be Security Technician — Install, service and maintain access control systems, video security systems, intercom systems, electronic locking mechanisms and other physical security products.
  • Comfortable using power tools and hand tools.
