The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with strategically important customers, identifying opportunities to increase value and new connections to the Freedom Fibre Limited (FFL) network, and honouring contractual commitments. The role leverages deep telecoms service fulfilment and assurance experience to ensure exceptional service quality for residential and business products, with a focus on strategic opportunities.
The manager will be based in customers' offices to fully understand their needs, act as the dedicated point of contact, coordinate service delivery with product and service specialists, and monitor service level agreements as the Voice of the Customer.
They will maintain up‑to‑date records, coordinate ad‑hoc requirements, ensure service levels, liaise with internal departments and suppliers for swift resolution, develop peer relationships across FFL, lead workshops, and manage time effectively to meet agreed deadlines.
Essential qualifications include strong customer service skills; preferred qualifications include ITIL Foundation, ITIL Service Operations, and Six Sigma Green Belt. Essential experience comprises proven key account management in the utilities sector (preferably telecoms), excellent communication and presentation abilities, relationship‑building, flexibility, and advanced MS Office proficiency. Desired experience includes CRM platform knowledge.
Key personal attributes are an agile, pragmatic problem‑solving approach, meticulous communication, attention to detail, a results‑oriented mindset with a track record of delivery, ability to manage and report business metrics, personal drive, team orientation, and optional management/leadership skills.
