- Collaborating with Legal, Accounting, Development, and Brand Leadership to ensure consistent interpretation and enforcement of franchise agreements.
- Supervising and supporting the Audit Coordinator and Franchise Audit Specialists.
- Leading the franchise audit program, from strategy and planning through execution and resolution.
- Providing coaching and performance feedback to direct reports and conducting performance reviews.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.
- Developing and maintaining a robust reporting system to track audit outcomes and compliance trends.
- Overseeing the audit process, including scheduling, execution, data analysis, and reporting.
- Establishing and refining audit and compliance procedures and controls.
- Managing the relationship with external auditors and serving as the escalation point for franchisee disputes.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or auditing.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with franchise organizations is preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proven ability to learn new software.
- Proven leadership experience in auditing.
