What you would be doing

- Support financial modelling, revenue forecasting, and cashflow planning for bids.
- Implement robust cost control mechanisms to monitor project expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor receivables and coordinate with Finance and Sales for timely collection.
- Maintain risk/trend registers for commercial exposures (pricing, credit, contractual).
- Administer bonds, insurances, and other contract-related documentation.
- Contribute to offer release approvals by ensuring compliance with authorization matrix.
- Track project-level cashflow and update management reports.
- Support preparation and submission of claims, including Extensions of Time (EOT) and Variations.
- Assist in reviewing draft contracts for commercial and financial risks.
- Create new projects and sales orders in SAP based on approved costing / offer release documents.
- Support budget tracking, Estimated At Completion (EAC), and variance analysis with Project Managers.
- Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
- Resolve billing disputes and order discrepancies with Sales, Finance, and Project teams.
- Maintain estimated project completion date in SAP.
- Maintain organized repositories of contracts, invoices, and commercial records for audits.

- Strong knowledge of billing, taxation (GST, VAT), and revenue recognition.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with project delivery models (EPC, O&M; exposure to BOT/DBOO is advantageous).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA or equivalent).
- Relevant coursework or certifications in commercial/project management, contracts, or SAP are preferred.
- 6-9 years of progressive experience in technical, commercial, sales, or project management roles - preferably within the industrial or municipal water/wastewater sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related technical field is preferred.
