COMMUNITY MANAGER

Description

In this role you will lead a high‑performing team, drive performance, and own results while connecting with residents and solving challenges daily. You will have the tools and flexibility needed to succeed, along with a collaborative environment that encourages ideas and innovation.

• Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and staff supervision.
• Recruit, train, coach, and mentor on‑site team members.
• Manage rent collection, budgets, and financial reporting with precision.
• Analyze market trends to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord‑tenant regulations, and company policies.
• Drive resident satisfaction and retention through proactive, personal service.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager and corporate support teams.
• Represent Arlington Properties professionally within the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required; college degree or coursework in business/property management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of property management experience with team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord‑tenant regulations.
• Financial acumen for budgeting and reporting.
• Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, MRI) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation; flexible schedule including weekends.
