Shive-Hattery is seeking a Creative Strategist in Phoenix, AZ. The role is on the Public Buildings Marketing Team, requiring a thought leader who challenges the status quo, thrives in fast-paced collaborative environments, and enjoys varied daily work.
The ideal candidate embodies complete ownership, design and layout expertise, superior writing skills, strategic mindset, industry knowledge, and servant leadership, taking initiative to learn and support the team. They deliver high-quality work independently, prioritize visual hierarchy, write concisely, ask insightful questions, and lead or follow as needed.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience in proposal and presentation planning, page layout, and editing, and be highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills are essential, along with a bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field; a graphic design background is a plus. Experience with Del‑Tek VantagePoint, OpenAsset, Bluebeam, CoPilot AI, or similar platforms is advantageous but not required.
