Description

• Actively manage the schedule of assigned projects according to workload, priorities, and design schedules.
• Perform electrical engineering duties including electrical systems design or management of ongoing rehabilitation of existing electrical equipment.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including records of meetings, correspondence, and progress
• Prepare electrical drawings and details, specifications, estimates, and/or studies for design projects.
• Actively oversee consultant design work for assigned projects.
• Perform a full range of supervisory duties, including reviewing the work of subordinate staff.
• Review shop drawings, respond to contractor Requests for Information, create and/or review Information Bulletins, and provide similar construction administration and observation during the project’s construction.
• Review reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates prepared by design consultants.
• Coordinate design drawings and related specifications, construction costs estimates, etc., with the other technical disciplines.

Requirements

• Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required.
• Travel may be required (approximately 20%).
