Machine Operators also perform housekeeping and work area organization duties and any required duties directed by supervisor or management.
Operators monitor and record product and material types, temperatures, speeds, pressures, quantity counts and quality checking materials and products.
Operators prepare machines for operation, load machines with material, enter data into machine’s computer controls, inspect and monitor machine and adjust different inputs, pressures and speeds to maintain quality.
Quality checks include preparing product samples, weighing samples, measuring widths and thickness and evaluating visual appearance of products.
