Assess the impact of transfer pricing regulations within the group company transactions.
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and corporate tax teams to lead tax related projects across multiple jurisdictions in the GCC region, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordinate with corporate tax team and provide tax advisory support to various internal stakeholders.
Lead the corporate tax provision calculations under local accounting procedures and U.S. generally accepted accounting procedures for various group entities in the region.
Perform ad hoc audit and accounting related responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate.
Prepare and maintain adequate tax documentation, policies, and procedures.
Monitor, interpret and communicate changes in various direct and indirect tax legislation and assess their impact on the business transactions. Lead the identification and mitigation of tax risks across the region.
Manage various tax audits and ensure timely resolution of tax issues.

Knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws within the GCC region (corporate income tax, DMTT, VAT, WHT, Transfer pricing).
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce.
Knowledge of local accounting guidance for income taxes; knowledge of U.S. ASC 740 accounting for income taxes preferred.
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably with a tax advisory firm or multinational company tax function, analyzing and preparing direct and indirect taxes for a multinational corporation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication and people skills.
Able to work as part of a team and under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning software and Microsoft Office Suite; advanced excel knowledge preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, direct and indirect tax laws and regulations within GCC region.
ACA, ACCA, or CPA equivalent required.
