Prepare standard contract documents, such as technical specifications, engineering reports, regulatory applications and other technical documents
Coordinate work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline and with support services staff
Conduct engineering analyses and apply engineering tools for the design and formulation of ports projects
Conduct field work including site inspections, surveys, and construction observations
Manage individual tasks and small projects while also working collaboratively as part of a team for larger or multi-disciplinary projects
Assist project teams in conducting the design process for engineering projects from conceptual design to detailed designs

Attending an accredited educational institution pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA with at least 60 hours of coursework complete
Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills suitable to a consulting environment
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have experience with MS Office software, including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Experience with engineering data analysis, GIS, or AutoCAD is an asset
Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to fluently communicate in spoken and written English
Strong quantitative skillsets to support port projects, that include civil, structural, mechanical and coastal engineering.
