Work collaboratively with team members in other markets/regions and the asset management team
Oversee and mentor junior staff providing opportunities for growth and learning
Manage process along with MPI leaders in disposition functions such as portfolio selection, interfacing with the brokerage community, marketing, offer evaluation and legal negotiation
Represent MPI to the brokerage community and broader marketplace by showing a high degree of professionalism
Keep a pulse on transaction and leasing activity, other market players and macro shifts within assigned market(s)/regions
Work closely with the MPI and JV Partner team during due diligence through deal closing serving as the MPI’s primary deal contact
In coordination with in-house and outside counsel, negotiate LOIs, access agreements and purchase and sale agreements
Build relationships with local developers and operators in an effort to create JV partnerships.
Source acquisition/development opportunities within assigned market(s)/region. Coordinating with MPI investments team members on sourcing and underwriting portfolios
Work closely with the brokerage community, JV partners, third party consultants and junior staff to prepare underwriting and presentation materials for MPI Investment Committee
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned market(s)/region
Attend and host/sponsor market events relevant to the market(s)/region covered
